The Ford Explorer is designed to help you stay connected with a wide range of smart features. The Sync 3 works hand in hand with the Amazon Alexa to give you natural voice navigation. You can also get traffic information while you’re on the road and even control your smart-home devices with ease. The Sync 3 has built-in apps like the Waze. in can sync with your smartphone to get crowd-sourced navigation and traffic information on the Explorer’s larger interactive touchscreen. New in the Explorer lineup is the Hybrid and ST. The Explorer Hybrid gives you up to a 500-mile range between trips to the pump while still being able to tow up to 5,000 pounds. The Hybrid is also equipped to handle off-roading as well and has been designed with either a rear-wheel drive or 4WD system. At the other end of the performance spectrum is the Explorer ST. It can go up to 143 mph and comes equipped with the 10-speed automatic transmission to get the most of the 3.0L EcoBoost V6 engine’s performance.
